Today I had the privilege of attending the Mississippi Farm Bureau Catfish Legislative Tour luncheon at Nobile Fish Farms. It was such a meaningful and educational experience. I was grateful for the opportunity to tour their hatchery, learn more about the dedication behind this industry, and meet so many hardworking individuals who help keep Mississippi Farm-Raised Catfish thriving. It was also an honor to visit with representatives from Farm Bureau, FSA, and our state legislature who were there to support and advocate for aquaculture in our state.

I am so incredibly grateful to be chosen as Miss Catfish 2026. This moment means more to me than I can put into words. Thank you to everyone who supported and believed in me throughout this journey, especially my family, friends, the Catfish Farmers of America, and all those behind U.S. Farm-Raised Catfish. I am so proud to represent this industry and the amazing year ahead.

I am Anna Rivers McGlawn from Greenwood, Mississippi. I will graduate from Pillow Academy in May and will attend the University of Mississippi this fall. I plan to major in biology with the goal of becoming a plastic surgeon, while also pursuing a minor in fashion merchandising.

What an honor it was to represent Miss Catfish at the national catfish convention. Serving as Miss Catfish has allowed me to meet so many influential people. Come support the Catfish Industry at the 49th Annual Catfish Festival on April 11th!

Last Wednesday, I had the privilege to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony for Indianola’s new helipad. My family has a medical background, and I believe that it is very important to know the resources around you! 🚁🏥
