Excellence is never achieved alone. It takes a team committed to a shared mission, willing to challenge one another, support one another, and never settle for good enough. Together, we have built something special at Montana State University and established a standard for veteran and military-connected student support that leads the nation. GO CATS!

Twenty-five years ago today, our nation changed forever.
On September 11, 2001, we lost nearly 3,000 lives. In the 25 years since, that morning has shaped a generation, first responders who ran toward danger, and the men and women who put on the uniform in the years that followed, many of whom we're proud to serve here at the Travis W. Atkins Veterans Support Center.
A quarter century later, the weight of that day hasn't faded. Neither has our gratitude for those who answered the call because of it.
Today, we remember. Today, we honor. Today, and every day, we say thank you.

September is Su***de Prevention Month

At the Travis W. Atkins Veterans Support Center, we know that transitioning to civilian and student life comes with real challenges. Su***de Prevention Month is a reminder that no veteran has to face those challenges alone.
If you're struggling, reach out. If you know someone who might be struggling, check in on them. A conversation can make a real difference.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day from the Travis W. Atkins Veteran Support Center! 🇺🇸

Today, we celebrate the birth of our nation and the enduring ideals of freedom, liberty, and opportunity that unite us as Americans.

As we gather with family and friends, we also pause to honor the generations of service members, veterans, and military families whose courage, sacrifice, and commitment have helped preserve the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their service reminds us that independence is not just a moment in history, it is a responsibility carried forward by those willing to defend it.
