Our Story
You're never alone at SDSU!
The Academic Success & Recovery Program supports students who are currently on probation or have been readmitted to South Dakota State University following suspension due to low academic achievement. Program participants in the Academic Success & Recovery Program are enrolled in either ACS 111 - Strategies for Academic Success, or ACS 140 - Academic Recovery.
ACS 111 is an intervention course designed to assist students readmitted following suspension to achieve greater success at SDSU. Students enrolled in ACS 111 are matched with a successful peer mentor who will meet with students throughout the semester in which they are enrolled in ACS 111 and beyond, if requested.
ACS 140 is also an early intervention course designed for students who have been placed on probation to help regain Good Standing.
