This past weekend some of our alumni (and spouses) gathered in Minneapolis to cheer on the Minnesota Twins! ⚾️

The day started with a social at La Doña Cervecería followed by an extra innings Twins game versus the Texas Rangers.

Our next alumni gathering will be on the eve of SDSU Homecoming at the chapter facility. We'll see you then!

Last weekend we celebrated 25 years as a chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.

200+ members, spouses, friends and University partners met in Brookings to not just celebrate 25 years of success but to set the tone for the future.

This past weekend we held the annual Jim Novotny Memorial Golf Tournament and a special, first-time ever in the summer, Founders Day celebration. To say our chapter members and alumni were excited to finally reconnect with one another would be a total understatement! We had over 100 people attend and participate in our weekend events.

We also welcomed our newest brother to Sigma Phi Epsilon, Dr. Florencio Urías Aranda III. Dr. Flo has been an invaluable mentor and volunteer the past few years during his time at South Dakota State University. Even now that he has moved on to TCU – Texas Christian University, he continues to stay committed to and the development of our members. We are proud to have welcomed him in as a Renaissance Brother.

Next up – Founders Day XXV! We can’t wait to bring everyone together in February for what promises to be South Dakota Alpha’s largest Founders Day celebration ever. Mark your calendars for February 18-19, 2022!
