First of all, congratulations to all our Secondary Teacher Education Program teacher candidates for Spring 2020! You’re on a great journey this semester. We had an excellent orientation day with guest speaker Erica Boomsma, the 2019 SD Teacher of the Year. We also held the 2nd annual education job fair at the Community Life Center in Brookings. Thank you too all the organizations and school districts that attended! We are so fortunate to have a fantastic group of students, faculty, and community that work together to make possibility reality. Thanks everyone for a great start to the semester!

Congrats to Amie Carter and MaQuelah Schueler who got invited to attend the National Teach Ag Campaign Future Agriscience Teacher Symposium in Raleigh, NC. Students were selected from a national pool of applicants, based on their proved leadership abilities, previous volunteer and advocacy work, and demonstration of passion for agricultural education, their chosen profession. We're proud of you!
