Earlier this month, Trocaire Professor George Chernowski (at 81 years young!), completed a marathon to raise money for the Nativity of Our Lord School Orchard Park Tuition Warrior Fund, which supports families in need of tuition assistance. A great example of mercy in action! 🏃🏼

Orchard Park resident George Chernowski is an 81-year-old who loves to run and serve. He combined those passions when he recently completed the Wineglass Marathon in Corning, raising thousands of dollars for families in need.

As National Veterinary Technician Week continues, meet Julie Schworm, LVT ’26. 🐾

After graduating from Trocaire in May, Julie took a short break mostly using the time to study for the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE). In June, she started working as an assistant at Orchard Park Veterinary Medical Center until she received her license.

Today, Julie has almost completed her training as an LVT as a part of the emergency/critical care team. While she didn’t initially plan to be in emergency vet med, she’s really enjoying it. It comes with a lot of challenges but is very rewarding!
