Welcome back to school!

We are aiming to hold our first pre-season practice this Friday morning for everyone interested in rowing in the CRI regatta Sept 21. Please remember to fill out the interest form so we have your email and you will receive the first practice update tomorrow! Also, remember you will need your swim card before you can get out on the Charles!

The start of the semester is almost here and we are excited about kicking off a new season at the HKS rowing club! Our first email of the fall just went out to old members with important information about practices and regattas.

Rowing Club Spring 2019 Programming

The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania invited our club to the 2019 Wharton Sprints at Philadelphia's famous "Boathouse Row" on Saturday April 13th, 2019. Sprint racing is generally about 2000 meters or a "2k."

On the day of the Wharton Sprints, Wharton will organize a BBQ in at College Boat Club on the Schuylkill River to hang out after the race.
Later that evening, the organizers will host a pub-crawl in Philadelphia.
Men and women can participate, as well as novices, intermediate, and experienced rowers, depending on the interest within the club writ large.

We did it! The Rowing Club at Harvard Kennedy School competed in the club 4+ and club 8+ events at the 54th Head of the Charles!

WELL DONE TEAM!

Special thanks to the Harvard Kennedy School Student Government and The Harvard Coop for their generous support. And special thanks to our devoted coach, David Levy, as well as past club leaders Paolo, Tobias, Vincent for building up a club that can compete at this level.

Hey all! The Rowing Club at Harvard Kennedy School will have two entries in this year's Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR), on Saturday October 20th! We hope to have some HKS turnout for the event to root on the team!

- The club 4+ event starts at 1:35 PM, bow number 31.

- We also have a club 8+ entry starting at 2:21 PM with bow number 25.

The best places to watch the event are at Anderson Memorial Bridge (the one that goes between HKS and HBS).

This entry earned the endorsement of HKS Dean Douglas Elmendorf, and is supported by the KSSG and the COOP Bookstore.

The Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) is the largest 2-day regatta in the world, with 11,000 athletes rowing in over 1,900 boats in 61 events. HKS will be rowing in the event, so come join the fun on HKS Saturday, October 20th 2018. At 1:35 PM we launch for the Club 4+ event, and at 2:21 PM, we launch for the Club 8+.
