🚨‼YOUNG ASPIRING DIRECTORS WANTED‼🚨

Are you a college student passionate about directing theatre?
The Nancy Curvin Playground Players are seeking a DIRECTOR and an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR for the Summer 2025 Season!

Description:
Each summer, a college-age director and assistant director lead a small company of high school actors in a 30-minute, one-act play performed for children and senior citizens. The Players will present 10 to 15 performances at local playgrounds, parks, daycare centers, and senior citizen centers in late July and early August. These are both PAID opportunities for young, aspiring directors!

Requirements:
Must be 17–21 years old
Driver's License is Required
Must have a strong passion in for working with youth and theatre
Must meet with a Geneva Theatre Guild Youth Theatre Liaison and the Geneva Recreation Department for training
Attendance at the Geneva Fireman’s Parade required

Timeline:
Play Selection: By May 15
Host Auditions: Early June
Start Rehearsals: Early to mid-June
Performances: July/Early August
