As we celebrate Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, we’re proud to recognize two incredible sisters whose cultures, experiences, and contributions enrich our chapter every day.
Thank you for sharing your stories, embracing your heritage, and helping create a more diverse, welcoming, and empowered sisterhood. 🤍
Allie Santos- “To me, being filipino has built strong bonds and lasting relationships with my closest friends. ive always been proud of my culture and i love to share it with others. it’s taught me that family isn’t always blood :)”
Noni- “Loy Krathong has always been one of the most meaningful celebrations from my childhood in Thailand 🇹🇭🪷✨ Every year, we would gather to release our krathongs (floating thing which was made from leaves and flowers) into the water as a symbol of letting go of negativity, showing gratitude, and welcoming new beginnings. It’s a tradition filled with beauty, light, and reflection, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. I’m grateful to share this part of Thai culture during Asian Heritage Month and celebrate the traditions that connect us to our roots. 🤍”
