Mothers, grandmothers, wives, aunts, and maternal figures that serve as the steadfast foundation of our families and communities, cultivating character, compassion, and confidence through their daily devotion and discernment. Their poise, perseverance, and profound sacrifices leave an indelible impact that transcends generations.

We do not do this work for recognition. We do it because we believe in the Bond, we believe in this chapter, and we believe in showing up for each other and for the community we serve. But it is still a powerful thing to be recognized by your Brothers. That kind of affirmation means something. It reminds you that the work matters and that the spirit of Brotherhood is real.

The 85th Middle Eastern Province Council Meeting was a strong showing for Cary Alumni. We are proud of what our Brothers continue to build together. Much love and thanks to the Brothers of the Beckley Alumni Chapter and the Alpha Tau Chapter for hosting a successful and well-done Province Council. Congratulations as well to all chapters and individual Brothers who were recognized for their continued commitment to achievement. We are grateful for the honors Cary received, and even more grateful for the chance to keep building in the spirit of One Cary.

An honor nearly 40 years in the making...

On Monday, January 5, 2026—the 115th anniversary of the founding of —the Alumni Chapter was honored by the Board of Commissioners with an official proclamation recognizing our commitment to service, mentorship, and community impact across the County.

To be recognized on , the date that marks the beginning of our Fraternity’s history and legacy, makes this honor especially meaningful. For our Chapter—founded on October 28, 1989—this recognition carries deep significance, as October 28 is now officially recognized as the Cary Alumni Chapter Day of Service, affirming nearly four decades of sustained impact in our community.

It reflects not only our chapter’s work, but the enduring mission of Kappa Alpha Psi to uplift communities through achievement, leadership, and service.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Wake County Board of Commissioners, the County Manager , and the entire Wake County staff for their support, professionalism, and for making this moment truly special.

On Thursday, January 5, 1911, our fraternity was founded on the campus of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. For 115 years, we have remained committed to embodying achievement and the objectives our founders envisioned. The crystallization of a dream made clear.

To all the good brothers, the frat so nice they named us twice, Happy Founders’ Day, Nupes!
