👉Over the past few days, the NWS Mobile has compiled 172 rainfall observations containing a mix of CoCoRaHS network reports, COOP, USA-Mesonet, and select Tempest station sites to generate the following GIS map from May's Excessive Rainfall for the central Gulf coast area. The hardest hit areas were Stone Co. MS with well over 20" of monthly rains and the Wilmer, Creola and Satsuma areas in Mobile Co where well over 2 feet of monthly rains occurred. The following is a contoured map of the rainfall reports. We appreciate and thank all of our observing networks, including federal, state, local, and private partnerships.

Another 95°+ yesterday for the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and the 6th so far this year. Through 6/7 this is T-2nd with 1895 for most with 7 in 1941 leading the way..

With another below average rainfall month here locally.. The past 6 months have been the driest on record for Raleigh-Durham International Airport and for the threaded record(1887-Curr) and 2nd driest for the Chapel Hill COOP(1890-Curr).

The 70mph(61kt) wind gust yesterday at Punta Gorda Airport
was the highest on record for a spring(MAM) date.

Back to Back 94° days for Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). A pretty rare occurrence and has not happened since 2019 and only the 12th time since 1887.. Since 1953 this is only the 4th time..
