This isn’t a gun-rights issue, this is a human-responsibility failure with irreversible consequences.

A 35-year-old woman in New Mexico allegedly fled authorities with her 11-month-old son and, according to deputies, fatally shoots him in the face with a handgun, reportedly so his father “would never be a part of his life.” She’s now charged with first-degree murder and child abandonment as the care her infant deserved turned into unthinkable violence.

This horrific case isn’t a debate about rights; it’s a reminder that the true test of our fundamental rights, including the right to keep and bear arms, lies in responsible stewardship and lawful use. When fi****ms are placed in the hands of those who are not responsible citizens, the consequences can be tragic beyond words.

🚨 BREAKING: Chester Official Posts Bail After Allegedly Shooting Lost DoorDash Driver 🚨 

A chilling incident unfolded in Chester, NY, where 48-year-old John Reilly, the town’s highway superintendent and a federally licensed fi****ms dealer, allegedly shot a 24-year-old DoorDash driver who was seeking directions after his GPS failed. The driver, a recent immigrant from West Africa, was reportedly attempting to deliver food when he approached Reilly’s residence. After being told to leave, Reilly allegedly fired multiple shots as the driver was returning to his car, striking him in the back.   

The victim managed to drive himself to a gas station before being transported to the hospital, where he is recovering from serious injuries. Reilly was arrested and charged with first-degree assault and multiple weapons offenses. He has since posted bail and is awaiting further legal proceedings.

This is just an FYI regarding the fact that the option to obtain a license is still there for the purposes of those that travel to states which accept South Carolina's concealed permit which will allow them to carry. Also training is advised whether South Carolina residents obtain a concealed permit or not.
