The summer before 12th grade is one of the best opportunities to get ahead on college applications before classes, activities, and deadlines begin competing for your attention.

Building a college list, drafting your personal statement, finalizing testing plans, and asking for recommendation letters now can make application season much more manageable.

The students who feel most confident when deadlines arrive are usually the ones who started preparing over the summer.
