Hi Class of 2013!

Interested in getting involved in our 5-Year Reunion?

The 5th Reunion Committee would love to have anyone who is excited about helping us to make our 5-Year Reunion the best yet! It will be made up of 30-35 of our Class of 2013 classmates and kicks off in February and conclude during Alumni Weekend. The tasks are simple and not too time-consuming:

1) Commit to doing peer to peer solicitations to help hit the participatory class goal (all funding goes to Odyssey).
2) Encourage people to come to the young alum celebration during Alumni Weekend (May 31- June 3, 2018).

It’s unfortunate, we know, but ever since the death of Dumbledore, they’ve been unable to find his pensieve. Since our expedition to find it hasn’t returned yet, we’ve created the next best thing: the Baccalaureate Ceremony! Come out and soak up some memories at Rockefeller Chapel. Doors open at 2:15, ceremony at 3!

Then at 7:30, stop by the MSI for “A royal affair: nerd-style." Have a few drinks and desserts with your classmates before the big day!

You’ve put in countless hours at the Reg, often catching yourself wondering aloud, “Ugh why does it close at 10pm on Fridays?” then asking yourself how on Earth you came to be “that kid.” Take the night off and hop on a bus for “an all-nighter you can enjoy” at the Hangge-Uppe with all your well-deserving classmates. You’ve earned it! Wristbands will also get you into a handful of other bars nearby on Division Street, including: She-Nannigan’s House of Beer, The Lodge Tavern and Bootlegger’s.

Buses: heading downtown from Reynold’s Club at 9:30pm. We will provide you with a wristband as you board the bus - be sure to have your Senior Week pass, your student ID, and your state-issued ID. We will send buses every half hour until 11:30pm.

If you are not taking the bus from campus, we will have wristbands available at The Hangge-Uppe.

Buses will return to campus from The Hangge-Uppe every half hour from midnight until 2am. After that, you will be responsible for our own transportation back to campus, so make sure to catch the bus if you want the free ride!

"Where fun comes to ride”:

UChicago was definitely an interesting adventure but now it’s time to take the adventure into our own hands. Join your fellow Maroons for an upside-down, fast-paced day at Six Flags! Buses leave Reynolds Club at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. Return times are at 6pm and 8pm.

*There are still Great America tickets available. Those interested should visit the table in the Reynold's Club at 9am or so for the 9:30 bus and anytime before the 11am bus.

The Spring Quarter Senior Pub Night will be held tomorrow, Wednesday, June 5th at 8pm at The Pub in Ida Noyes Hall. Join your fellow seniors for pizza and fun!

We will be giving away commemorative Class of 2013 glasses to the first 300 seniors, so be sure to come early.
