My Test My Choice Study My Test, My Choice is a Chicago-based group created for young Black men who are attracted to other men. Earn up $40 for your full participation!

My Test My Choice is an opportunity to help improve home-based HIV testing. Participants will answer questions about their HIV testing history, perform a modified home-based HIV test, and answer some questions about the home-based HIV test and HIV testing knowledge. ProfileD explores the phenomenon of Racialized Sexual Discrimination (RSD) that Black men experience on gay hookup apps and websites. In case you are living under a rock and somehow missed last night's INCREDIBLE game, the Golden State Warriors officially tied the Chicago Bulls record for best regular season record (72 wins)!

The only difference is that the Warriors have a chance to stand in a category all their own with a win at home against the Memphis Grizzlies this week.

In light of last night's sizzling championship game...

"According to the U.S. Census, blacks made up 12.3 percent of the nation's total population in 2012. Meanwhile, a 2016 study by the University of Pennsylvania's Center for the Study of Race and Equity in Education found that black men made up only 2.5 percent of the overall student population at the schools in the five biggest Division I conferences. In other words, African-Americans aren't just overrepresented in big-time college sports; they're wildly overrepresented."

"The initial cause for Blacks being confined to the ghetto was the racist Jim Crow laws. Blacks were unable to move out of the failing cities after “white flight” because of racist zoning laws and policies. When Blacks were finally coaxed into moving to the suburbs, they were hunted down by predatory lenders who sold them on the idea of the now infamous subprime loan…also racist. So why is it so hard for our people to see the racist hand in gentrification?

If it reads like it’s bleak, it’s because it is. Gentrification is indeed warfare."
