In case anybody struggles with sugar cravings and healthy eating or diabetes:
A common misconception - dark chocolate can be the same as artificial sweeteners, it can just make cravings more severe over time, even tho it can be a good option for the moment tho dark chocolate specifically does have many healthy benefits overall.
Bananas with whipped cream (or anything that tastes good with whipped cream like angel food cake even is decent for diabetics), and multigrain cheerios as they're full of nutrients and vitamins and a cup shouldn't raise your sugar, frozen treats like popsicles, frozen yogurt... the freezing process actually lowers the glycemic index of foods like breads too. (Frozen whipped cream or cool whip gives you that ice cream craving fix).
