This past semester, students put leadership into practice through PRTM 3019: Backcountry Expeditions and Leadership. Throughout an eight-day Spring Break expedition, they hiked through Osceola National Forest, paddled the Suwannee River, explored Ocean Pond, and camped along some of North Florida's most scenic landscapes. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ

Along the way, participants developed leadership, communication, and decision-making skills through hands-on experiences that challenged them to adapt, collaborate, and grow. ๐ŸŒฒ๐Ÿ›ถ

Celebrating our PRTM Creative Inquiry students! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‘

Led by faculty Dave White and Elizabeth Baldwin, these students continue to make an impact in recreation research.

At the Southeast Recreation Research (SERR) Conference, Katie Blondeau delivered a solo presentation on GIS-based signage and trail systems in the Clemson University Forest. Alex Jones and Jonah Holbrooks presented research on university and school forests across the U.S., highlighting a developing database.

Building on last yearโ€™s success, including a Best Undergraduate Poster award, their work supports research in forests and outdoor recreation.๐Ÿƒ
