🎓 FAFSA 2026–2027 IS COMING — DON’T MISS OUT ON FREE MONEY 💰

The 2026–2027 FAFSA will open later this year, and I’m already seeing the same mistakes cost families thousands in grants and aid every single year.

If you have a high school student (any grade), this applies to you 👇

✅ FAFSA rules have changed
✅ Income & asset reporting matters more than ever
✅ One small mistake can reduce eligibility
✅ Timing = money (waiting can hurt you)

This group is here to help you:
✔️ Understand the NEW FAFSA rules
✔️ Avoid common errors that lower aid
✔️ Learn how FAFSA ties into scholarships & merit aid
✔️ Build a smart college funding plan — not just fill out a form

💬 Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing:
• FAFSA tips & updates
• Common red flags I see every year
• Live Q&A posts
• Step-by-step guidance for families

👉 Comment with your student’s graduation year (2026, 2027, 2028, etc.) and I’ll tailor tips for you.

You don’t have to figure this out alone — and you definitely don’t want to leave money on the table.

**Understanding a Negative SAI on the FAFSA**

Hey friends! As many of you are filling out your FAFSA, you might come across your Student Aid Index (SAI) and wonder what it means if it's negative.

Is a Negative SAI Good?

✅ Yes, it is! A negative SAI indicates a high level of financial need. This is beneficial because it means you could be eligible for more financial aid.

Why is this Important?

Increased Aid Eligibility: A negative SAI can boost your chances of receiving need-based aid like Pell Grants, federal work-study, and subsidized loans.

Maximizing Support: With a high financial need, you might get more help covering your college expenses, reducing the amount you might need to borrow.

Remember! The lower (or more negative) your SAI, the greater you have demonstrated financial need.

Make sure to complete your FAFSA accurately and on time to take full advantage of the financial aid opportunities available!

Feel free to share this with anyone who might find it helpful! 📚💰
