I am Robert Forseth and I am running for District Attorney of Waupaca County. I am a life long resident of Waupaca County, born and raised in Waupaca. Education: I graduated in 2001 from Waupaca High School. After high school I went to college at UW-Fox Valley and graduated from UW-Stevens Point with a double major in Political Science and Social Science. I entered law school at Thomas Cooley Law
School at the Grand Rapids, Michigan campus and completed my education with an internship with the District Attorney's office in Waupaca. I educational track was in Constitutional Law with emphasis in criminal law. Occupation: For the last five years I have been working with Werner, Johnson & Hendrickson in New London, Wisconsin. I have what I consider to be a general practice where I take on a wide range of cases. For the firm, I am primarily responsible for the estate planning, probate, and real property cases. Outside of my law practice, I have had work experience at the Waupaca Foundry, Sturm Foods, Stein-Ray Farms, and Bergstrom Automotive. Achievements: In law school I received the Book Award/Certificate of Merit (highest grade) in international criminal law. I also scored exceptionally high in the courses of Defending Battered Women and Gun Rights and Regulations. At UW-Stevens Point I was awarded the University Leadership Award and Chancellors Leadership Award. I have also received several recognition awards from the various organizations I have been involved in. Some of the more notable organization achievements include the Most Valuable Person and Most Valuable Senator awards from Student Government at UW-Stevens Point and Outstanding Wrestler Award given to me by the Freedom wrestling programs in high school (I feel it is necessary to point out that I never wrestled for Freedom and it was a true honor to receive this recognition from an outstanding wrestling community). Affiliations: I have been involved with several local organizations over the years. I am presently active with the Waupaca Wrestling team, Waupaca Lions Club and Badgers Den Brewing Club. I have also been active with the Waupaca County Fair for the past four years. Through my affiliations with these organizations I can be seen all over Waupaca County every year at events like the Iola Car Show, Arts on the Square, and the Waupaca County Fair. In the past I have been an active member in numerous organizations that include UW-Stevens Point Student Goverment Association, Student Legal Society, UWSP Fencing Club, Hmong and South East Asian Club, and Student Athlete Council. I have held various executive and leadership positions in each of these organizations. Wrestling:
