A special shoutout to this crew!

One of our Ag Division goals has been to create a successful learning community for our Ag students. We’ve implemented a number of projects with this idea in mind, including Monday night Ag Study Hall.

These ladies were selected by Ag faculty to serve as peer mentors for Monday nights. They helped facilitate study hall and were available to help their peers in a variety of classes. We’re thankful for them and all of their time and dedication.

Also, a big thank you to Taylen Hubbell for serving as the faculty advisor during Monday nights.

Sidney worked as our Ag Division work study the last three semesters. She focused on helping us with marketing efforts and contributed to all of our special events. She’s a remarkable young lady and we’re so thankful she shared her talents and skills with us.

Thank you for your time and dedication, Sidney! We appreciate you and wish you best in your next adventure.

Thank you to Thomas County Farm Bureau for treating us the last two weeks!

We received snacks for teacher appreciation week last week. And the students have a bucket full of treats for finals prep.

Our last Meet the Faculty Friday is... Dr. Beth E. Fenton

Dr. Beth Fenton is the online academic advisor and instructor for veterinary nursing students. She has been at CCC for 14 years. Courses she teaches include veterinary anatomy, pharmacology, anesthesia, and critical care.

Dr. Fenton was born and raised in Sublette, Kansas. She was active in 4-H and various school activities. She obtained a BSN from Washburn University and a DVM from Kansas State University.
Dr. Fenton worked as a small animal veterinarian in Kansas, North Carolina and South Carolina. She loves to educate clients about caring for their animals

Some of her hobbies include playing with critters, traveling, hiking, singing, playing handbells in her church choir, and laughing at her grandsons' antics.
