General information

By joining Arnold Air Society, you'll be heralded into a time-honored tradition of Air Force camaraderie and community service, both of which culminate in the Joint National Project (JNP). The JNP is a collaborative effort between Arnold Air Society and Silver Wings to seek out areas to volunteer in the surrounding community. In accordance with the University and Corps of Cadets Core Value of selfless service, as well as the Air Force Core Value of Service before Self, we strongly urge cadets to seek nearby volunteer organizations for areas of need. By doing so, we train Air Force commission motivated cadets to not only give back, but also to lead while doing so, even during formative freshmen and sophomore years. Detachment 805 cadets pursuing an Air Force commission should strongly consider joining the Maj. Horace S. Carswell, Jr. Squadron, right in the heart of the Texas A&M University and Bryan / College Station community.
