Some things to think about as you purchase holiday gift wrap and greeting cards:
🎁 Metallic (foil) and laminated (shiny surface) gift wrap is not recyclable. Stick to plain wrapping paper. Better yet, avoid wrapping paper and consider other reusable options such as bags or furoshiki.
🎁 Anything with glitter is not recyclable. Choose unadorned greeting cards and gift bags.
🎁 Ribbons and bows are not recyclable. Consider other alternatives.
🎁 Tissue paper isn’t recyclable, but it can be reused.

Whether it is a wooden comb, cardboard packaged soap, or even just a reusable bag, small changes in our daily habits make big differences over time.
