Last night’s Student, Staff, and Faculty Exhibition reception at Pryor Art Gallery was a great reminder of why spaces like this matter. Thank you to everyone who shared their work, showed up, supported each other, and helped fill the gallery with so much energy and conversation.

It’s always special seeing students, faculty, and staff creating side by side and contributing to a shared creative community. I’m grateful to have been part of helping bring these exhibitions together and to witness the range of voices and ideas that pass through these walls.

Columbia State student Dayanare Mendoza, who also serves as an usher for the Performance Series, crafted this piece "Don't Forget to Blink" after hearing Scott Mulvahill's "Blink" at his concert in the Cherry Theater Nov. 13. Whether you’re chasing a PR in the timed 5K or enjoying a relaxed 1-mile walk with friends, this course brings the energy, the scenery, and a few good hills to keep things interesting.

And bring the kids! 😁 The free, fun Chargers Trot and Kids’ Zone are perfect for children 10 and under, making this a full morning of family-friendly fun.
