"I came in expecting to work my way through the business school and get a decent job. Do that for a couple years and then go do my own thing. It's kind of what we're told to do. In college, my mentors showed me that you don't have to wait. Just be aware of opportunity, be present, and don't be afraid to ask. That's how the idea of Tradeversity started. We realized the opportunity and said, 'What's the worst that could happen?' Now I'm living my dream, which I'm very grateful for, but it's also much more difficult that I thought, too. I work 14 hours a day. There's headaches, there's stress - I don't sleep. The emotional stress is a lot. You always hear about people when they're very successful, when they make it big. You don't hear about the 3,5,10, sometimes 30 years before that, when people put everything on the line. When people sleep on the street. I turned down financial freedom to do this full time. It's not as romantic as it sounds, but it helps to know that everything is relative. This university, technology, cars, cell phones - literally everything in the entire world was created by someone who had the same amount of time as you in that day. They had 24 hours and they had to sleep, they had to eat, all in the same amount of time. That means you can create any future you want, too. You just have to believe you can."
