On Saturday, October 10th Dr. Palmer will be running in the ‘Run for Joy’ 5k in Columbia. The race is to raise money for Joy Ministries, a group of dedicated individuals called to “serve people in the local community stricken by poverty, single parenthood, addiction, and food insecurity.” To show support from the Blue Raider Band, he’ll be running with a sousaphone on! Lindsey Wilson University partners with Joy Ministries in a number of ways, and the BRB is proud to add to it. If you’re interested in donating, check the link in the bio for more information.
