"TERRITORY/TERYTORIUM" DIR. Bartek Paduch, Poland, 97 minutes, 2025
A small town in Poland, a good cop trying to do his job, secrets and intrigues that pull him apart, this film is packed with action. Adam comes across a disturbing CCTV recording and what initially seems like a routine case, quickly uncovers a network of connections, silence and loyalty that turn out to be surprisingly close to his own life. The film presents a story from the heart of Europe that speaks to the heart of America.

Congratulations to Dr. Jenny Suchland, who has been selected for the National Humanities Select Summer Residency program!

This is a wonderful honor and opportunity for Dr. Suchland, who will be able to have concentrated time to work on her research in an intellectually supportive environment. The honor is a double one, as first Dr. Suchland had to be chosen by Ohio State as one of our two nominees, and from there she was chosen by the National Humanities Center for one of only 40 participant spots.

Enjoy your month in the Research Triangle, Dr. Suchland!
