“She loved telling the story and said it was her claim to fame."

100 years ago Rosalind “Rosie” Morrison Strapp ’27 lost the title of Homecoming Queen to a 1,200 pound cow named Maudine. Rosie could have been offended by the cheating scandal but instead she wore it as a badge of honor. She'd say "Nobody remembers who was homecoming queen 20 or 30 years ago, but they sure remembered her."
