Last week, Albany State University's Health Information Technology (HIT) program had the pleasure of hosting local YouthBuild students for an afternoon of hands-on activities and career exploration.

Students learned about the important role Health Information Technology professionals play in healthcare and explored educational and career opportunities within the field.

The event was led by Latoya Davis, Program Director, and Jessica Morgan, Clinical Coordinator, whose expertise and dedication provided students with an engaging and meaningful experience.

Albany State University's HIT program is proud to support workforce development and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Albany State University’s Darton College of Health Professions faculty participated in the City on the Move College and Financial Aid Fair hosted by Bridging the Gap Educational Services today. This event was designed to advance college access and readiness, increase awareness of financial aid opportunities, and connect students with valuable educational resources.

Faculty members engaged with students from Crisp, Dooly, Wilcox, Pulaski, and Worth Counties, reaffirming the university’s commitment to supporting academic success and promoting pathways to higher education.
