There are moments in an industry when competition gives way to collaboration… when visionaries, builders, researchers, and innovators come together around something bigger than themselves. This is one of those moments.

We are honored to be partnering with Oregon State University and the Global H**p Innovation Center to create a first-of-its-kind h**pcrete demonstration structure — a living showcase of innovation, craftsmanship, and the future of regenerative building.

This project will bring together multiple h**pcrete installation methods, materials, and philosophies into one collaborative build environment. More than a structure, it will serve as a real-world cross section of where natural building is headed and what becomes possible when passionate people unite around a common purpose.

What makes this especially meaningful is the spirit behind it.

This isn’t just construction. It’s research. It’s education. It’s storytelling. It’s legacy work.

With a live installation and a full production crew documenting the process, we aim to capture not only the technical innovation happening in h**pcrete construction, but also the human side of this movement —

Route 66 turned 100 in 2026. To celebrate, we’re building the first **pcrete barn in the United States, right on the mother Road. We’re calling it Route 66 Centennial

Soon you can buy a **pcrete brick and put your name on this historic build.

The barn will be fire resistant, safer for horses, climate forward, and the next step toward showing how H**p can become a bridge for to construction! Details coming soon!

Reflecting on an Inspiring Two Weeks Immersed in All Things H**p 🌿✨

The past two weeks have been a profound journey—filled with h**p presentations, heartfelt spiritual messages, and meaningful connections that have deepened my understanding of our sacred land and its history.

I’m thrilled to share that we’ve reached a new milestone with an agreement alongside our Canadian sister company, 8th Fire Innovations, broadening and aligning our visions for a sustainable future.

I experienced my first round dance, the joy filled my heart, yet it was a powerful reminder of the rich heritage and wisdom Native Americans have passed down through generations. The spiritual messages I received during this time revealed insights I didn’t even know were waiting for me—reminding me of the divine guidance available when we open ourselves to the universe. Learning from those who walked before us on this land, I’ve gained a renewed respect for our role as stewards. It’s our responsibility to protect and preserve Earth’s precious resources—air, water, and soil—for the generations to come.

At Earth Merchant, we are committed to this sacred duty. We believe in building sustainably—using only methods that honor the land, with hands, not machines. H**pcrete is at the heart of this movement—a natural, resilient, and eco-friendly building material that holds the promise of a healthier planet.

Together, we stand as guardians of our Earth, guided by all ancestral wisdom and a vision for a sustainable future. For our kids, for our land, for all living beings.

🌿✨ Big thanks to KWSO for coming out and sharing our story! We are honored to be part of this conversation about building in harmony with nature and uplifting communities through sustainable practices.

Farrell and I believe deeply in using natural materials like h**p—not just as an energy-efficient, healthy alternative to traditional insulation and building methods—but as a way to reconnect with ancestral knowledge, self-sufficiency, and long-lasting trades. For Indigenous communities, it’s about reclaiming skills, livelihoods, and sovereignty through the power of sustainable building. For all of us, it’s about using our handprint to heal instead of adding to the carbon footprint.

This is more than just building homes—it's about building futures.
