Finding a $20 top brings me such joy! It reinvented my 6 year old skirt treasure and 7+ yr old gianvito rossi sandals.

OMG! Cape Town has THE MOST INCREDIBLE shopping scene!! Yesterday was the tip of the iceberg. Wait till you see the jewelry I bought today with you in mind!!

Still in Dallas, working up to the very last minute before I leave for Capetown on Monday the 13th!
Practicing what I preach and shopped my closet for this outfit. I was so tickled with how it came together, I had to share it.
Yellow skirt was a 2017 Florence Italy find, polka dot shirt is a recent Gap Factory treasure and the belt is vintage YSL. (😘to ) Shoes are 2018 Joie.

After a 25‑hour flight, I plunge into nine blissful days in Cape Town—an intimate arts & crafts retreat made for people who love beauty, creativity, and good taste. In our tiny group of 12 I go behind the scenes with local artists and designers: studio visits, hands‑on workshops in textile printing, pattern design, natural dyeing, illustration, collage, contemporary beading, and the stories that fuel my own imagination. Between creative deep dives I get to indulge in world‑class food and wine in the Cape winelands, scout wildlife, and wander charming villages of the rugged peninsula. Art, adventure, and indulgence—exactly my kind of escape.
I’ll be on the hunt for gorgeous Cape Town finds — can’t wait to share the treasures I bring home!
