DUGI x Environmental Law Society are proud to present:

DUMPED: How the North Carolina Legislative Environment is Affecting the Environment
Wednesday, November 6 - 12:15pm
LAW 3043 (Not 3047, sorry about that!)

Come join us for this power lunch and learn how the NC legislature has been rolling back a number of protections for the environment. In recent months, they have aggressively tried to limit the ability of state regulatory bodies and citizens groups to protect their local environment. Come hear from Professor Jedediah Purdy, two lawyer-lobbyists from the Southern Environmental Law Center, and former NC State Senator Ellie Kinnaird on how the current political climate in North Carolina is drastically affecting your environment. Vegetarian box lunches will be provided!
