Delta Zeta - Iota Delta

As many have read, the decision has been made to cease operation of our chapter. This was not an easy decision by any means, but one that was in the best interest of our members. At the end of this semester our chapter had two women remaining. We would like to congratulate Ashley Nieves on her graduation this semester! And we would like to thank our chapter president Jenna Fox for giving every ounce of herself to to this chapter. Both women have been granted alumni status.

We want to thank everyone for the love and support since our installment on campus in Novemeber of 1965. Iota Delta is forever with us ❤️

A Quick(ish) but EXCITING note from the CCD: 🙂

A Much Deserved acknowledgement::: 👏👏👏Our active collegiate members are making an amazing effort this semester throwing their hearts and souls into making this recruitment season one of tremendous growth for our chapter. While colleges across the nation are seeing Greek Life trends spiraling downward, our women refuse to give in! They are small in numbers, but not in heart. They are already exhausted and have so much on their plate with their academics, but they are devoted to recruiting quality women to grow our collegiate chapter. Please continue to share love, support and encouragement to them! They truly truly deserve it! 🐢

Iota Delta's chapter President Rebecca Haight and I spent an amazing 4 days in Orlando, FL this July with our sisters nationwide. We learned, felt sisterly love and grew. Not just as individuals, not just for our chapter, but for our SORORITY!

Delta Zeta National is making great strides to grow sorority membership and share our amazing organization with so many other women!

We were able to witness the first initiations into new alumni chapters of Delta Zeta. One chapter for mothers of Delta Zetas and one for friends & family of Delta Zeta. This was beautiful to witness and I hope that we can help share our Delta Zeta experience with others.

Here is a tiny snippet of an email I recieved this week from Delta Zeta National. Stay tuned for more information to come in October and in the meantime, consider other women in your life who embody everything Delta Zeta, and let's welcome them into our sisterhood!

Help us wish our lovely sisters Annika and Sarah a big CONGRATULATIONS!!! 🥳🎉🎉🎉

These lovely two women graduated from our university today and we could not be more proud of both of them! 💕🎓

Sarah graduated with 2 degrees in Mathematics and secondary education: Mathematics!

Annika graduated with a degree in Psychology with minors in military science, criminal justice, and biology!

We are so incredibly proud of you both and can’t wait to see what you do in the future!!!

Hello sisters!

It saddens us to announce that we must CANCEL our alumni luncheon on Saturday. We have not had enough RSVPs to maintain the event. However! For those that have RSVPd, we would like to extend the offer to still meet at Pogue Student Center at 1:30pm and then go to a late lunch around 2pm. This will be a more casual setting, so badge attire would not be requested, but it still allows the opportunity for our alumni and actives to get to know one another and form those bonds!

We will be attempting to host the Alumni Luncheon again next spring, however, we will be sending out invitations in the fall so that we can allow our alumni more time to plan. Again, we apologize for such short notice and any inconvenience that this may have caused. We appreciate your continued support and are excited to see any and all sisters who can attend on Saturday!
