Join us for the second installment of our New Faculty Speaker Series on Tuesday, October 27, at 3 p.m. at the UTEP Centennial Museum!

Dr. Paola Andrea Echave from the Department of Sociology and Anthropology will present Preserving and Protecting: A Collaborative Approach Against Labor Exploitation in Indigenous Communities in Puebla, Mexico.

Note: The UTEP Centennial Museum will be open for this lecture; however, it will remain closed to the public until November 20, 2026.

The Grad Student Grad Fair is one week away!

It is next Thursday, October 22, from 5–8 p.m.. It will remain a dedicated evening exclusively for graduate students to get graduation-ready and take care of everything they need before the big day.

The All-Student Grad Fair will still take place as scheduled on October 23 and 24 and graduate students are also welcome to attend those events.
