🩷The members of Iota Phi Omega Chapter are forever grateful for the organizations in the community that are willing to partner with us as we work to be of service to all mankind. So grateful for a second year of partnering with Cinderellas Closet Northeast Ohio! The Sisters shared how they had a wonderful time with the Science students at Sandusky Middle School! And what a beautiful way to commemorate the life of our Diamond Sister Dorothy (Dottie) Anderson with a planted tree in Oakwood Park in Lorain Ohio. Certainly it will grow to serve its God given purpose and cover the space in which it was planted just as she did. 🥰🩷💚

🩷It is always an act of love as the driver for the things that we do.

🩷Blessings to all who choose to serve the Lorain and Erie County communities in the manner in which they need you. May you continue to have the resources to remain viable.

Another year of learning and growing in this sisterhood at our 95th conference for AKA Great Lakes Region wrapped up and in the ivy catalog. The Women of Iota Phi Omega Chapter were well represented as Sorors from all generations of service graced Columbus, Ohio with their presence. Looking good Sorors. Next up......Boule!

A message from our International President & CEO, Danette Anthony Reed:

As we observe Law Day and reflect on “The Rule of Law and the American Dream,” it is a time to remember that our voices and our votes are the foundation of that dream.

Recent judicial shifts have challenged the vital protections of the Voting Rights Act of 1965, protections that our predecessors fought tirelessly to secure. Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® will not sit idly by as equity and access are diminished.

Sisters, we must remain resolute. We call on our lawmakers to restore these protections and on our communities to stay engaged and mobilized. Our legacy is one of advocacy, resilience, and resistance. Together, we will continue to hold leaders accountable and stand firm for justice.
