Today, we reflect on the powerful legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a man who believed in the power of kindness, unity, and hope. His dream of a world where people of all backgrounds could come together in peace continues to inspire us every day.

As we celebrate his life and vision, let’s remember the importance of empathy, understanding, and the impact one person can have. May his message of love and perseverance guide us as we work towards creating a brighter, more harmonious world for all. ✨

Join us at the Johnson Center Kiosk E on Wednesday, January 22nd, from 11AM-1PM to further honor his legacy. We look forward to seeing you there!

We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend our Transgender Day of Remembrance Vigil. This day of observance honors the memory of our transgender siblings as we grieve the lives lost in acts of anti-transgender violence in the last year.

Names are an extension of who we are, deeply rooted in one’s language, culture, and identity. This year, we invited speakers who spoke the native language of the community members we honored. At this year’s vigil, we honored 406 humans whose light and love will be greatly missed.

As always, our offices - the LGBTQ+ Resources Center ([email protected]) and the Center for Leadership and Intercultural Engagement ([email protected]) - are available to you. You can reach out to us via email, Instagram, or at our office in SUB1 Suite 2400.

If you are in need of additional resources, TimelyCare is Mason’s 24/7 Telehealth counseling app-based service, available even during breaks.

In community,
