🎤Employee Spotlight: We are excited to welcome Johnay Johnson as our newest Practical Nursing instructor to the Bobcat team! Johnay is domiciled at the Alexandria Campus.

Johnay’s unique blend of experiences makes her a relatable and inspiring nursing instructor. As the youngest of 14, she undoubtedly developed a natural gift for patience, resilience, and advocacy early on – qualities that translate seamlessly into guiding future nurses through high-pressure clinical environments. Her dedication to lifelong learning, proven by her impressive collection of four degrees, sets a powerful standard for academic excellence and deep intellectual curiosity in her students.

Johnay loves belting out tunes from a wide range of musical genres, even with a self-effacing “Although I can’t.”

Whether she’s unwinding by laughing at TikTok videos or daydreaming about a tranquil vacation in Bali, Johnay’s goal is to connect with her students on a deeply human level, mentoring them through all stages of their student nursing career.
When asked what excites her most about working at CLTCC, Johnay shared: "Preparing the next generation of nurses.”
