Ferrum College senior and Boone Honors Program member Jess Bollinger ’23 recently had the opportunity to study abroad in both Italy and Ireland. This fall, Bollinger will attend the University of Westminster in London, England as an exchange student, where she will complete the required courses to finish her history major.

Our students have the opportunity to study, participate in internships, and do service learning programs in countries all over the world. Study abroad is a life-changing experience that opens so many doors for students academically, professionally, and in terms of personal growth. We encourage every Ferrum College student to learn about the study abroad and other opportunities we offer!

A lot has changed in Ferrum’s 100+ year history, but one thing has stayed the same: our students work hard for what they want. Whether it’s in the classroom or on the athletic field, they know that success requires sacrifice and perseverance. Through their hard work, they graduate with a sense of purpose and conviction embodied in our motto, “Not Self, But Others.”

As we close the books on this fiscal year, please consider a gift to the Ferrum Fund by June 30 to help us support our amazing students now and into the future: http://ow.ly/cpVb50JEF1Q.
