Hi Team Members! Another EXCELLENT training event. As an initial class or annual refresher this event cannot be beat. It is also the introductory step should you choose resident training for CTOS.

Cincinnati-Hamilton County Homeland Security and the University of Cincinnati – Clermont College are hosting the homeland security program entitled “WMD Radiological/Nuclear Responder” and is scheduled for December 15, 16 & 17, 2015, from 8.00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This 24-hour training course will be conducted at the University of Cincinnati Clermont College, 4200 Clermont College, Batavia, OH 45103.

The course provided, free of charge and funded through the Department of Homeland Security, is designed to increase the preparedness and response capability within the local community. The course will be delivered by the Center for Radiological/Nuclear Training (CTOS). Attached is an informational flyer with a registration form for your use. You may also register online at: http://goo.gl/forms/u9oEUW7LAT.

Deadline to register for this course is now December 11, 2015.

Also, remember you are now required to have a FEMA Student Identification (SID) number to attend any homeland security training in person or online. The SID number takes the place of your social security number. Below is a link to the FEMA website to obtain the SID number if you do not already have one. The whole process should not take more than three minutes.
