Chicago Metro Leadership Program

Chicago Metro Leadership Program We strive to positively enhance the career skills of our students by providing a unique learning experience that embodies the value of leadership.

The Chicago Metro Leadership Program was founded in 2010 by Dana Bozeman at the Chicago Campus of DeVry University. Today, the program is sponsored by staff advisors from the 3 Chicago metro campuses as well as by staff sponsors from Chamberlain College of Nursing The program was created to empower DeVry University and Chamberlain Collegel of Nursing students to become the leaders of tomorrow by:




- Assessing their current leadership practices
- Exposing them to various leadership theories
- Practicing team building and critical thinking skills
- Evaluating leadership effectiveness
- Taking inventory of personal values and ethics
- Exploring personal and cultural differences (perspectives)
- Discussing healthy behaviors for a balanced lifestyle
- Using assessment and reflection techniques
- Preparing students to be top leaders in their chosen career field.
