Brothers from both lodges shared stories, laughter, and enjoyed the camaraderie that binds our fraternity together.

Worshipful Master Seth Richard Roderick, of Grand Lodge, AF & AM, of Virginia & Fredericksburg Lodge No. 4 AF & AM joined the Brethren of Prince Hall No. 61 - F&AM for their monthly Cigar & Libation Night. His visit highlights the ongoing spirit of unity, and shared brotherhood connecting our local Masonic bodies across the community.

While enjoying the evening, Wor. Roderick extended a personal invitation to all Brethren, family, and friends for the upcoming Masonic Family Day on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Masonic Home of Virginia (MAHOVA) in Richmond. Featuring historic demonstrations, food, and parade units from across the Commonwealth, it’s a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our shared heritage and support the residents of MAHOVA.

The Craft alongside brethren of the 28th & 29th Masonic District and members of the Order of the Eastern Star, gathered for 5th Sunday worship at First Mount Zion Baptist Church in Sparta, VA.

In Prince Hall Freemasonry, the 5th Sunday—a calendar rarity occurring only four times a year—is a cherished tradition known as a Masonic Church Turnout.

This tradition also honors the deeply rooted, historical bond between Prince Hall Freemasonry and the church as twin pillars of strength, leadership, and community support.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to First Mount Zion Baptist Church for welcoming us into their sanctuary for a powerful morning of worship and fellowship.
