Who are we?

Sumaiya Nusrath and Dr. Bonnie Moradi are researchers at the University of Florida. Sumaiya is pursuing her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with the goal of serving Muslim American people and diverse communities. Dr. Moradi conducts research and teaching about the experiences and well-being of minoritized communities, including MENA and Muslim American people.

So what is MAEWS?

MAEWS is an anonymous online survey seeking to learn about and amplify the experiences and well-being of Muslim American people living in the United States. We estimate that the survey will take participants between 25-35 minutes to complete. We hope that this study will help us learn about Muslim American people’s voices and share them with professionals to better serve the community’s needs.
