Caveat Emptor ("Let the buyer beware"). Be careful of notes sold by Note-Taking Companies. Although we won't name names, many note-taking services promise you As if you buy their notes, but they are actually selling you mediocre products.

They will often recycle notes from previous semesters, and they may sell you notes to a section of Good Life that was taught one, two, or even three years ago. The course has changed a lot in the last few years.

If you rely on notes from a note-taking service, it may be providing you notes to a class that had a very different reading list from yours. The notes may not even be to a section taught by your professor!!

If your professor posts his/her lectures online, it's better to use free resources provided by a professional rather than pay for mediocre materials provided by amateurs.

Would you like to volunteer during Summer B and be a Conversation Partner to international students?

The English Language Institute (ELI) is seeking UF students to help international students practice English and learn about American culture.

UF volunteers will spend 1 hour each week with their partner at a time and location of their mutual choosing to help them practice their speaking and conversation skills.

This is a great way to meet international students, learn about new cultures, and help others!
