MISSION
The mission of Omega Phi Alpha is service. Our hope is that our members will become life-long, service-minded leaders.

We strive to better the lives of others worldwide by collaborating with organizations and volunteering thr

ough a flexible service program. PURPOSE
The purpose and goals of this sorority shall be to assemble its members in the fellowship of Omega Phi Alpha, to develop friendship, leadership, and cooperation by promoting service to the university community, to the community at-large, to the members of the sorority, and to the nations of the world. MOTTO
The national motto is "Today’s Friends, Tomorrow’s Leaders, Forever in Service." It is a motto which members of Omega Phi Alpha hold dear to their hearts. PRINCIPLES
The three cardinal principles are Friendship, Leadership and Service.

Why OPhiA Wednesday from our secretary Megan!

My time in OPhiA has been nothing short of life changing. I joined my Freshman spring
because my roommate (shoutout Ireland) suggested that we go check out this service organization. I was very homesick and couldn’t seem to find my place at UF. As soon as I went to the first recruitment night, I knew it was for me. Since then I have been apart of a few committees and this Fall I will be doing the job as secretary. This organization has brought me to some of my favorite people and gave me long lasting friendships. From meeting new people, big/little and endless events I have found a group to call family. I cannot express how grateful I am and how much I love this organization! 🩷🐝
