Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Valerie Williams, our March Teacher of the Month. A 27 year social worker in the school system Mrs. Williams brings an unparalleled passion and desire to school with her daily. When why she chose this path in eduction she replied, “The joy of school social work is that I wake up every day and do meaningful work at Robinson Elementary and Forestview High School. Each day my students and their families allow me a small glimpse into their lives and each person has a story to tell.” Special thanks to her and all of the other school social workers making a difference daily 🙏🏾

Congratulations are in order for our January and February Teachers of the Month.
January features Mr. Nicholas McCaskill. A 2017 graduate of Winston Salem State University he began his teaching career late 2017 at Tryon Elementary School where he is currently teaching. “Teaching has been so fulfilling and rewarding, knowing that I am instilling love, positivity and leadership into the students,” said McCaskill.

February features Mr. Forsheé Blair of Highland School of Technology. Blair’s initial goal for getting into the educational field was to impact students by showing them that post high school educational opportunities could help brighten their future. He’s most fulfilled when he sees former students paying it forward with the next generation. Salute to these educators! 🍎
