BUGS of SELU

BUGS of SELU "BUGS" is an acronym for Biology Undergraduate Society.

Our organization is open to undergraduate students at Southeastern Louisiana University who are majoring in or have an interest in the Biological Sciences.

General information

BUGS is an awesome organization the be a part of! In the past, we have hosted speakers on various topics of interest in biology and have organized extracurricular field trips to such places of importance as the Tulane Primate Research Center and The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas (in New Orleans). Occasionally, professors within the Department of Biological Sciences will come to meetings to talk to the students about taking advantage of research opportunities around the department and to inspire them to be an active participant in biology (not just someone majoring in it).
