The University of Southern Mississippi has a wonderful Clarinet Studio comprised of talented clarinetists from around the world!

The Clarinet Studio at the University of Southern Mississippi is an active and strong 30-member group, each of whom are dedicated to becoming better musicians and music educators. The studio is comprised of music education and performance majors, ranging from Bachelor to Doctoral degree programs. There are many students who play with local and regional orchestras, as well as several alumni who hav

e continued their studies at conservatories and esteemed schools of music throughout the nation. The USM Clarinet Studio focuses on creating a beautiful tone, developing technique, and creating successful musical phrasing within a positive and enthusiastic environment.
