NKU students, today would be a great day to head to the BB&T arena to watch some basketball. Today at 1:00pm, we host Wright State, in what is sure to be the beginning of a new rivalry. They are the closest school in our conference. Come on out and support your team.

"I've been told that our friends from Lexington will be showing up in force for the women's basketball game between NKU and UK on Wednesday, December 2nd in the BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University.

The NKU women have had an impressive start to the 2015-2016 season and deserve the support of the community. If you're a student at Northern Kentucky University, then please come to the game at 7:00pm on Wednesday night (12/2). As a student, you get into the games for free with your AllCard (aka student ID).

Yes, finals week is coming up, but your brain needs a break, take the brake at the BB&T Arena at 7:00pm on December 2nd. The NKU Norse Force should be the most imposing force in the arena tomorrow night!

Student Organizations,

History has been made! For the first time ever, NKU will be hosting post-season tournament play! On Tuesday, March 3rd at 7pm NKU Men's Basketball will host Lipscomb in Regent's Hall in the first round of the Atlantic Sun Conference Tournament. Due to the fact that this game will have to be played in Regents Hall there will only be 200 FREE student tickets available.

If you are interested in attending, please read the information below on how to get tickets!
• Ticket pick-up will be in the SU on Monday, March 2nd
• Norse Force members will be given first priority between 10am and 1pm
• General Students will be given second priority between 1pm and 4pm
This is a huge event for this University and with 200 students we can have Regents Hall rocking’.

Students can also purchase tickets at The Bank of Kentucky Center Box Office on Monday and Tuesday if they miss out on the FREE 200.

Students of Northern Kentucky University, the Northern Kentucky University Men's Basketball hosts their first conference game of the season tonight in The Bank of Kentucky Center at 7:00pm! THEY NEED A LARGE STUDENT CROWD TO HELP LIFT THEM OVER KENNESAW STATE! In addition, your NKU Cheer and or Northern Kentucky University Dance Team will be performing at half-time for the last time before they travel to Orlando for their National Competition. Come send them off in style!

Norse Leadership Society Fall Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN

The Norse Leadership Society will host their annual Fall Retreat in Pigeon Forge, TN on Thursday, November 20- Sunday, November, 23. The mission of the Fall Retreat is to provide students with an intensive four-day developmental experience. The retreat is designed to provide participants with a personal exploration of themselves as well as to foster advanced leadership skills. All sessions will be facilitated by NKU Faculty and Staff, Community Leaders and NKU Alumni. This is a great networking opportunity!

To attend the retreat, students must be at least a sophomore with a 2.5 GPA. This program is also open to graduate students. The cost to attend the retreat is $65 per student. This fee includes most meals, lodging, transportation and all retreat materials including a t-shirt. This is an official university event, so all participants will receive excusal letters for classes. However, it is your responsibility to communicate this event with your instructors and we cannot guarantee they will excuse you.

NKU’s Activities Programming Board is excited to announce a special pre-sale opportunity to all NKU Students for the GRAMMY award-winning country group Little Big Town. The band is coming to The Bank of Kentucky Center, on Sunday, November 9! Joining them will be Brett Eldredge and the Brothers Osborne! APB has 222 tickets to be sold at $10 each. The pre-sale offer is available ONLY on Tuesday, September 9 from 8:15AM to 3PM in Student Union Room 111. This allows for ONLY NKU Students to purchase a maximum of two (2) tickets per person BEFORE they go on-sale to the public and at a lower price!
