Future Endeavors: As a new grad, I hope to find a job I'll enjoy and learn a lot from. I'm considering working in the mainland for a few years to grow and explore before coming back to Hawaii. Throughout my career, I may want to explore different specialties to discover my passion and diversify my skills as a nurse.

Congratulations to the graduating ℅ 2022 nursing student professionals! We want to recognize and celebrate 8 graduating seniors that demonstrated outstanding achievements and exceptional leadership to the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s nursing community and student body. These awardees served as exemplary role models and mentors to their nursing peers while succeeding in their studies. SNA is thrilled to recognize and congratulate these awardees for their efforts and dedication!

Outstanding Achievements: I am really grateful to have been the SNA at UHM President for the past two years, as it was a great opportunity for me to hone my leadership and collaboration skills. I was also lucky enough to be awarded a Regents Scholarship, which has allowed me extensive time and resources to grow. Throughout nursing school I was able to gain a ton of experience in the ICU setting after doing my summer internship in the CVICU and my senior preceptorship in the MICU. Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way!
Future Endeavors: I plan to take some time off after graduation to decompress, and then get started on studying for the NCLEX! I have also accepted an offer from St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA to work as a new grad on their cardiac progressive care unit.
