Hi there to all alumni! I am not sure if you are aware of Scranton’s annual Day of Giving being held today through midnight.

Currently Scranton Ice Hockey is woefully underfunded with players themselves paying 85% of the near $55k budget.

If you are considering a donation for today’s Day of Giving, please consider Men’s Ice Hockey Team.

The 2024 Scranton Men's Ice Hockey Alumni Game is scheduled for Saturday, April 27th.
Skate is from 3-4:30PM at the Revolution Ice Centre.
Following the game, there will be a catered dinner at Backyard Ale House from 6:30-8:30PM.

Passing this on this sad news from Chris DeRose.

A friend of mine, Dominic McNulty, passed away two weeks ago unexpectedly way to young. Dom and I played hockey in college together for a short time and then played against each other in beer league. We shared a unique comanilaity both being goaltenders. If you knew Dom, you knew he was a class act. We battled each other many times but genuinely congratulated each other after..

I had memorial stickers made up if anyone is interested. I’m asking for $10 per sticker, which will be donated to his wife and little boy, or you can make any donation to their go fund me.

We have also received additional devastating news regarding a former player. Chris Lombardo (Class of 1998) passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2023. Chris played two seasons from 95'-97'. He was a beloved father, husband, son, brother, and friend to so many.

A funeral mass will be held in his memory this Friday (8/11) at Cure of Ars Church in Merrick, Long Island.
