If you are a graduate of the University of Illinois (UIUC, UIC or UIS) and reside in the Houston area, please join or renew with the club. Naturally, we gratefully accept voluntarily donations to allow us to continue our long-standing scholarships for a highly deserving Houston-area high school senior who has been accepted to attend UIUC in the fall.

Illinois has advanced to the Elite 8! Join Illini fans for a special Illinois pre-game celebration, then game watch, at Tom’s Watch Bar, from Noon-8 PM on Saturday, March 28! Illinois’ cheerleaders and band are scheduled to arrive around 2 PM, so arrive early!! Game attendees can make their way to Toyota Center (5-minute walk) or stick around and watch the games on Tom’s widescreen TV’s!🏀

Our Story

The University of Illinois Alumni Club of Houston (or the Houston Illini Club) has dedicated this site to keeping our members and fellow Illini informed of the activities of the organization. We are open for membership to all of the over 3,600 University of Illinois alumni in the Houston Metropolitan area. Our purpose is to: 1) Unite our members based upon our common Illinois heritage; 2) Serve as a positive force in the Houston community; 3) Provide scholarships to local area high school students who choose to attend the University of Illinois (50% of each member's annual dues goes towards the club's scholarship fund). If you are a graduate of the University of Illinois (UIUC, UIC or UIS) and reside in the Houston area, please join or renew with the club. Annual dues are only $20 (single) or $25 (married), and membership provides significant discounts for a variety of club events. Finally, please contact the group admin with your ideas or suggestions!
